Hi Firechf; Mine does the same thing, so does my daughter's, I think they all do! My own solution is shift slow and deliberate at normal speed for each gear. When I do it that way it shifts smoother. If I try to hurry the shift it will seem to get stuck and then I have to clutch and declutch and shift several times to get it unstuck. Quirky, but still a fun bike. Frank
